Catholic School House Contract Let for Immaculate Conception
James Cain of Elkins chosen by the building committee as contractor to erect the Immaculate Conception High School on Catholic property opposite the church. The $75,000 building will be two stories plus basement, with Cleveland sandstone basement and butt pressed face brick, terra cotta cornices, and fireproof stairs halls and corridors. The plans by Barbara J. Wood include a gymnasium, auditorium, multiple classrooms, toilets, dressing rooms, editorium and stage, with completion targeted by January 1 next.
