Welch Killed in Streetcar Accident
Patrick Walch aged 30 of Florence Street died after a streetcar struck him as he lay on Main Street near West Dear in Fairmont. Motorman W H Perine and conductor Blaine Kearnes operated the car. officials say the death was accidental and no inquest is planned. Walch, son of John Walch, is survived by his father and siblings Joyce Michael Maggie and Mrs Mark Hanley among others. Funeral services will be held Monday at 10 o clock at Immaculate Conception Church with burial at Holy Cross.
