Funeral for Mrs Burdette Held in Yatesmont Cemetery
Prof F L Burdette traveled to Ona near Huntington Monday night after the death of his stepmother Mrs Witte Burdette. The funeral and interment were planned for Wednesday in the family plot at Yatesmont cemetery Ona. Mrs Burdette was 62 and died Monday morning from heart trouble. She was a daughter of Samuel Flood Hardwick of Buckingham County Virginia.

Gus Pellias, 39, a Greek laborer at the tinplate plant, died Tuesday morning after a short illness with typhoid fever. He passed at the local hospital and the body was removed to an undertaker for burial preparations. Burial time had not yet been set.
