Bluefield West Virginia June 13 Dozen delegates aligned with President Taft in today’s rally as Hatfield faction led by McCoy sent telegrams of congratulations. Hatfield clan supported his gubernatorial bid and pledged loyalty to the Taft slate amid muddy state campaign signals.

The railroad plans weigh about 100000 dollars in neighborhood improvements, including leveling Baltimore street near Third, building a retaining wall, paving an alley between Central storage and Reymann Brewing from Fourth to Third, extending a north-south street from Clark to Baltimore, and paving the new sections. All paving and grading will be provided by the railroad at its own expense and the new streets will be dedicated by the railroad.
Deputies and striking workers for the American Smelting and Refining Company clashed in Perth Amboy New Jersey. Officials say shots were fired in the air as the confrontation escalated and a striker was wounded.
