Death reported in bed as carbolic acid suicide
Gil bert A Y Young An 25 found dead in bed at his sister Mary Colburns home in Shinnston near Wheeling. A bottle of carbolic acid and a tin cup were found by his bedside. He left a note saying he could not bear his troubles, possibly linked to nervous distress and family concerns. He worked for Hell Telephone Co and will be buried at Grafton Wednesday.
