Maine Wreck Obstruction Urges Immediate Removal

A historical report urges the United States to act promptly to remove the sunken battleship Maine from Havana Harbor. It notes the wreck and shoal impede anchorage and tides, threatens shipping, and has been neglected, with Cuban authorities wary of changing the narrative of the incident. The piece calls for treaty or diplomatic steps to secure permission and carry out removal without delay.
