The eight year old daughter of Prank Scorcheck died at 5 PM after an explosion of kerosene at a neighbor's house in Pinnochinnick while helping with household duties. Funeral at Shavieh church on West Pike Street Friday at 8 AM with interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.

Lafayette 8 Stewart colored of Lumberport was fined 25 and costs for carrying metallic knuckles and bound over to the next grand jury in 200 for disorderly riotous conduct on a railroad passenger train. The charges were filed by T L Powel B&O railroad police following a disturbance on a Short Line passenger train. Stewart posted bond and was released after paying the fine.
