At a regular meeting of Clarksburg Tounen No. 872 Knights of Columbus on Thursday night, candidates were initiated in the first degree. Names listed include Clarksburg Cabinets The Rev Fr Je J Kennedy, Dr William T Gooka John Barnes, John Rickerman, William Looffer, Rev Pres Michalsid, P J O'Brien, Edward Green. Weston Council names M P Rafferty, J B Dolan, Charles M Griffin, Joe Rafferty.
Record shows Edward Witliasis, a White male from Two Lick vicinity, was sentenced by Justice W P Camp Williams to one year and one day in county jail for stealing a quantity of bracelets, trinkets, and junk from the Two Glek mine operated by the Geneiidation Coal Company. Company officers arrested Witliasis. counts resolved with sentence imposed.
New Mattingville attorney and former judge T P Jacobs says he admires Roosevelt but does not believe Roosevelt will seek a third term. He recalls Roosevelt’s 1912 speech rejecting a third term and asserts Roosevelt should not be a candidate for the presidency again.

Trenton circuit judge William St. Lainning died at his home after a long public service career in Mercer County New Jersey.
