Wedding Bells Mark New Year In Fairmont Notes
A May marriage features Miss Florence Anderson and Mr. Russell Harr in Fairmont with a ceremony by W. Long Denton. Guests travel from Clarksburg Shinnston and Fairmont as the couple hosts a refined dining room wedding feast. Miss Bertha Bia hosts a social afternoon and Miss Doulve Bailey plans a pleasant salad supper. A leap year dance at the Waldo Assembly Room opens with Wells’s Orchestra, followed by a salad supper hosted by Mrs. J. T. Houston and Mrs. Moore Jackson. The day also reports the marriage of Miss Bee Swisher to Mr. Russell L. Harr at the Central hotel in Fairmont with Rev. A. W. Morrison officiating.
