Children’s Christmas Wish Letters From West Virginia Town
A long parade of local children from Adams ton to Mannington write to Santa Claus detailing their desired gifts for Christmas. They seek dolls, teddy bears, trains, toy cars, sleds, wagons, blocks, and various outfits, with many mentioning candy and fruit and asking not to forget parents and siblings.
