Unknown Man Found Hanging in Bushes Near Dublin Bridge
A severely decomposed body of a man, likely 40s to 50s and about 5 feet 6 inches tall, was found hung from a small tree near East Main street below Dublin Bridge. Three Broad Oaks boys found the corpse, which showed no identification. An inquest will be held by Acting Coroner M. S. Riley after the body is prepared for viewing. The clothing included a checked suit and a coat bearing a Hoboken label. no papers identified the individual. The death is treated as self-inflicted based on the noose and position. Police investigate with morgue authorities.

Riley Fined by Mayor Crile for Hotel Liquor Sale
L. Riley proprietor of the Fuel City hotel Glen Elk was fined 20 dollars and costs by Mayor Crile for selling intoxicating liquor at the hotel bar last Sunday. Witnesses testified and Riley pleaded guilty. authorities vow strict enforcement of liquor laws. Other prisoners cited were fined or jailed for intoxication as the city council adjourned after awarding a paving contract.

James Bingamon Sandusky died at his Bridgeport home Tuesday morning at 9 o clock after heart trouble. He was 73 years old and had lived in Bridgeport all his life. Sandusky was widely known for his long engagement in milling and agricultural pursuits across the county.

Reverend Holden Returns From West Virginia Mission
The Rev. Dr. C. H. Holden of Clarkshurs has returned with his family from a trip through Harrison Dodd Ridge and Lewis counties where he preached at West Milford Pleasant Cold Water and Broad Run Baptist churches to crowded enthusiastic audiences. The party enjoyed the trip and locals extended many invitations to spend summer in West Virginia. Holden leads one of Ohio’s strong churches and plans to preach next Sunday. No dancing in the Glen Elk pavilion until Thursday night per announcement.

Man Paid Fine for Carrying Concealed Razor in Sock
Sumatafore a miner, fined 25 dollars and costs in Magistrate G H Gordons Court for concealing a razor in a sock. He was arrested Monday in Glen Elk after a complaint that he threatened to kill a man. A separate charge for disturbing the peace also resulted in a 5 dollar fine with costs. He lacked funds and was remanded. a friend later paid the fine and papers for release were sent to the county jail. A razor was found in his sock and he faced a bearing on the concealed weapons charge.
