A warrant has been issued for Alonzo Gibson of Elkins charging him with robbing a woman aboard a passenger train of over one hundred dollars in an unusual manner. The report, from Baimwont West Virginia, details the incident and the subsequent legal action.
Friends gathered at the Tate residence Saturday to celebrate Mr Tate’s birthday. Guests included J. A. Caffman Frank Tate Geo Shuttleworth and others. An elegant supper followed and the evening brought much enjoyment for all attendees.
The monument to Tate Finnshaw was erected at Connellville by the engineering corps. Finnshaw, aged nine, was a native of the area and led improvements in Connellville during the Be 0 project.
