Special to The Sentinel Harrisburg Pa July 27 the move of the automobile license fund to the State Highway Department accelerates road work with nearly four thousand men at work statewide. Officials say it will take weeks to gauge total needs as holes ditches culverts and gutters are filled and roads reshaped. The 1914 fund totals about 1 150 000 with 250 000 from 1913 unexpended. Maintenance funds for State Aid Highways remain small around 25 000 with occasional authorizations for repairs including resurfacing and reconstruction on State Aid routes.
