Washington college reported Mrs. Buxton could not recall details of the fatal Burto n apartment slaying of Effie Buxton. She said she picked up a tool to fix a towel rack then found herself kneeling over the elder Buxton. A hatchet was found near the body but she claimed she held a hammer. Her attorney noted weight loss and questioned the insanity plea. Funeral services for the victim were set in Worcester Massachusetts.

Woman Dies In Head-On Crash Near Annapolis
