Flurry of Terror Seen for Saigon Bases Found Near City
U S paraviet Cong and North Vietnamese troops uncovered two sapper camps within 15 miles of Saigon as US paratroopers from the 82nd Airborne’s 3rd Brigade attacked in the swampy fringe. One base eight miles west of the capital yielded seven sapper deaths, with the other 2 miles northwest found earlier.
