One hundred thirty five mothers and babies from the cradle roll of St John’s Lutheran Sunday school gathered in the church social room for a party with balloons and autumn flowers. Juvenile games and refreshments followed. The youngest baby, three weeks old, received a silver spoon. Superintendent is Mrs Charles Dysert and assistant superintendent is Mrs George Reynolds. The department has 143 children enrolled with 36 to be promoted to the beginners department on Sunday.
