Roberdesy Annan former president of First National Bank of Frostburg Md received a two year term for misappropriation of bank assets. Frank Spates the cashier and Owen Canty the bookkeeper also pleaded guilty to related charges in a case that involved about 246000 dollars stolen since 1931 with most funds recovered or accounted for. United States Judge William C Coleman presided as prosecutors outlined stock gambling losses and oil speculation tied to the embezzlements.
