Grenada Officials Must Protect Negro Children

A federal judge in Oxford ordered Grenada officials to shield Negro children from violent attacks by white men near de segregated schools. Langs Rites Held For York Native At Funeral Home

John Charles Langs of York born, died at his home on Virginia Avenue Friday evening after a long tenure with Rubherold Company. Survived by widow Margaret Strite Landis and children Elisabeth Roth and Dolores Heisey, six grandchildren, sister Violet Landis, brother Lowell Landis, and many nieces and nephews. Michael Farrie 62 Dies After Illness in Hagerstown

Michael Farrie 62 of 74 Madison Ave died Friday at Washington County Hospital after a lingering illness. A former crab sheriff and longtime Western Maryland Railway inspector he was active in boxing and held the air weight championship of Company B. He belonged to St Marys Catholic Church Holy Name Society Moose Pilgrim Degree of Merit Elks Eagles and Waynesboro Nest of Owls. MIG Downed Planes Lost In Viet Nam Fight

US pilots downed a Soviet MIG in one dogfight northeast of Hanoi as three Americans in F4C Phantom jets faced four MiGs. Two American planes were lost. total North Viet Nam shootdowns reach 375, with 206 helicopters downed. Marines near the DMZ engaged a reinforced unit, claiming 50 enemy killed and about 110 more, while one Phantom crew was rescued after a hit.

North Vietnamese delegation meets Soviet leaders in Moscow

North Korean Crew Mutinies in Yellow Sea Mutiny

TOKYO AP reported four crew members of a North Korean fishing boat mutinied in the Yellow Sea and killed seven military guards on board, then sailed to Japan seeking political asylum. Nine others who did not seek asylum were locked in a cabin. all 13 detained as investigators proceed.

Cuban Exiles Riot at Miami Police Clash

About 300 Cuban exiles protested near the British consulate in Miami when the march devolved into a fist fight with police. Police reported 32 Cubans arrested or jailed on charges from disorderly conduct to assault. Four officers were treated for minor injuries as reinforcements restored control within 30 minutes. Witnesses described a chaotic scuffle as demonstrators pressed against the police line.
