Traitor Suffers Brain Hemorrhage in City Hospital

Robert H. W. Best a 54 year old former newsman convicted as a traitor for broadcasting German propaganda during World War II fell ill with a cerebral hemorrhage. He was reported in fair condition at City Hospital the day after his stricken seizure in his Charles Street jail cell Saturday. Best is serving a life imprisonment sentence imposed April 16 1948 for treason.
