William Ankeney Dies In Motorcycle Crash
William Freeland Ankeney Jr., 23, of Pope Avenue, was stopped for riding a motorcycle as if unfamiliar with operation. After a reprimand and a promised caution, he died when his motorcycle struck a car on the Hagerstown Frederick highway. Passenger Carole Selena Grater, 13, was injured and hospitalized as her condition improved. The collision occurred near the Fox Deceived Farm. the wreck involved a speedometer mention.
