Edna Harbaugh Augusta Beimers Grace Brandau and Ella Covey escaped the State Training School for Girls at Montrose near Reistertown last week. Patrolman L. Saylor of the Juvenile Court captured them near Hardscrapple and returned them to the institution. They fled by breaking eight doors and traveled mile by mile through Heistertown Westminster Waynesboro and Hardscrapple amid rain and cold before being caught. Edna Harbaugh was committed by the Juvenile Court. Covey was committed at the Orphans Home. the others were Baltimore residents.
