The Welcome Wagon Newcomers Club held its monthly luncheon at the Women's Club with many new residents in attendance. Newcomers listed included Mrs. Virgil Turner from Hopeville Pennsylvania and others from California Alabama Virginia and Ohio. Guests included Mrs. Edward Fazenbaker Mrs. Franklin E. Cooper and others. The group awarded a floral centerpiece to Mrs. Donald St Germaine, and Mrs. Cooper presented colored slides. Business discussed a December 3 dinner dance at the Holiday Barn. Next meeting slated November 16 at the Women’s Club with speaker to be announced. The club aims to welcome new city residents and help them settle in.
