Smithsburg Plans Own Reservoir

In Vienna October 26 Hungarian anti communist civil war spread across the country despite government orders for all out military action. Three Belgian diplomats said western Hungary was in rebel hands as heavy fighting raged in Budapest with Russian tanks involved. Rebels controlled the highway from Budapest to the border and thousands may be dead or wounded after three days of fighting.
