The McAllister farm of 165 acres in the Wilson district sold at the courthouse yesterday afternoon via Auctioneer J. C. Snyder for 10700 dollars. A family member bought in the property. Five other properties were sold or withdrawn. R. W. Eigenbrode sold Funkstown land to Ralph Ritter for 720 dollars. Fred M. White sold the Slayman property to James W Williams for 910 dollars. Other Snyder sales included a double frame on Elizabeth street for 1000 dollars to Garnet Gebhr and the Lynch property at St James to Mr. Sheeley. Dalas Ward sold three acres near Clearspring for 1005 dollars. The Ecton property at Washington and Winter streets was withdrawn.

Baltimore youths held in larceny case
Two Baltimore youths, aged 14 and 16, were arrested in McConnellsburg Pennsylvania and returned to Hagerstown to face charges of bicycle larceny. Police say two bicycles were found in their possession, one allegedly stolen from W R Daniels on Oak Hill Avenue and another from Frederick.
