Sleepy California Supreme Court judge faces jail order

In San Francisco an eight year veteran Justice Marshall McComb of the California Supreme Court was ordered jailed until he provides a sworn deposition to the state Commission on Judicial Qualifications. Superior Court Judge Byron Arnold issued the contempt order and stayed it until November 8 to allow an appeal. The commission accuses McComb of willful misconduct and a disability interfering with duties. the judge has hired attorneys to contest removal.
