Greencastle Pastor dies after heart attack during visits
The Rev. Robert L. Thomas, 41, of 31 N Washington St Greencastle pastor of Evangelical Lutheran Church, died Thursday afternoon in Shady Grove from a heart attack. Born Shamokin Pa, he served since 1962 at Greencastle after education at Gettysburg College and Seminary. Survived by wife Catherine and children Linda Barry and others. Funeral services set for Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at the church with burial in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery Tantytown.

Car crashes and charges after city roadway collisions
A series of crashes and charges occurred across the city. Reuben H. Eby Jr., 56, was involved in a minor collision with an eight panel truck on Broadfording Road, with $200 damages. An intersection crash at Elizabeth Ave and Chase St caused about $450 in damages to a parked vehicle. Layton A. Ashby, 18, of Blooms Ave, was charged after his car skidded north on Southwest and struck Locust, with injuries to a family member noted.
