Lions Plan Float for Mummers Parade at Hotel Hamilton
The Lions Club agreed to enter a float in the Mummers Parade during a club meeting at Hotel Hamilton. A planning committee led by Dr. E W Ditto was formed to handle arrangements. A Babies Milk Fund update and a vocational talk by N H Righter of Montgomery Ward were among the items discussed. President F A Welty chaired the meeting.

Two Teens Ordered to Attend Church After Pellet Incident
Two youths aged 17 and 15 were sentenced by Magistrate W. W. McKirinie to attend church three times weekly after firing lead pellets into the Greencast United Brethren Church during Sunday service. A pellet ruined a window and narrowly hit Rev. C. M. Sparrow. The order requires attendance on Sundays and Wednesday evenings.
