YMCA Programs Highlight Hagerstown Activity Range
The Hagerstown YMCA serves thousands with year round facilities for meetings sports and civic programs as part of the Community Chest drive starting November 15 at a goal of 87 678. It operates 16 clubs for youths including co ed and junior programs with hundreds of members and offers swimming lifesaving and gym facilities. Last summer YMCA camps hosted 160 youths with 54 girls, while softball and basketball programs engaged hundreds more and veterans received 300 free six month memberships.
