Alsatians Plan Secret Sunday Parade Tour

Alsatia Club members and friends will tour Sunday afternoon departing at 2 p m from West Washington street. The route is secret and lunch and dinner arrangements along the way are arranged with two eating places offering meals like chicken dinners and steaks. Members are asked to report numbers and car availability to Kieffer Bowers or Red Metz and noncar owners will be assisted. The tour covers about 119 miles through mountainous scenery and returns to Hagerstown about 7 or 7 30 p m.

At a recent meeting of Girl Scout Troop 6 held at St Johns Episcopal Paris House, Miss Troupé led a second folk dancing instruction helping girls earn father’s badges. Peggy Byer and Mary Bond, first and second lieutenants, assisted others pursuing various badges. Dorothy Voris won the observation prize for accuracy in a picture. A new song was learned for the Minstrel’s parade.

Kaetzel Gilbert Marry in Uniontown Church

The wedding of Miss Fe Catherine Gilbert and Raymond Kaetzel was held at Church of God Uniontown Maryland. The ceremony featured music by a quartet and a solo bride, with Ralph Kaetzel as best man. The bride later wore a brown suit for the reception and is a Jefferson Medical College graduate.
