Stewart Pickering governor of District No 1 of Baltimore was the keynote at a district meeting lauding club spirit. He announced plans for a district convention in Martinsburg in November uniting Maryland, District of Columbia and West Virginia clubs as an annual affair. Sunday Service A Successful Holy Communion Attended

Many Babies Entered in Washington County Festival
The registration office for Washington county s Better Babies festival opened at 18 North Potomac street. In one hour more than fifty babies were entered led by Misa Martha Hofstatter of 22 East Avenue as the first entrant. Parental entries urged for ceremonies and scoring. King Studios will photograph the first 50 entrants free. The Juvenile Department of the Woodmen of the World backs the event and a Miss Washington County will be elected.
