Mounted Champion Pigeon On Display
Speed Boy the homing pigeon that set records in Chicago has been mounted and sent to the Hagerstown Fair to be exhibited in the poultry building. L. L. Toms arranged the display with Ray Keastaloot sending the mounted bird from Chicago. The pigeon owned by Kestaloot features the harness used for sending photographic film to the paper. The bird was the first to fly 600 miles on the concourse. Local pigeon clubs assist in making the exhibit notable.
