Bishop Sebastian Dies at 64 in Baltimore
The Most Rev. Jerome J. Sebastian auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese of Baltimore died in Baltimore at 64 after a cerebral hemorrhage. He was a spiritual leader in Maryland and served as pastor of St. Elizabeth's Church. He had appeared in Hagerstown for ceremonies and presided at a dinner for Thomas W. Pangborn in August. He was consecrated as auxiliary bishop in 1954.
