Outlaw trio tied to 1933 Union Station massacre
The U.S. Department of Justice named Charles Floyd Adam Richetti and Verne Miller among 15 involved in the June 17 1933 Kansas City Union Station killings. Four officers and Frank Nash were slain by machine gun fire as a failed attempt to free Nash. Several suspects were jailed or released on conspiracy charges while Miller and Floyd remained at large.

Slayings linked to Galatas pair: arrestees face conspiracy charges
Officials linked the slayings to Rich ar Tallman Galatas and wife Elizabeth, arrested in New Orleans September 22 and brought to Kansas City for arraignment on conspiracy to defeat ends of justice. Mrs Galatas pleaded not guilty with bond set at 325,000. Galatas remains in jail, awaiting formal arraignment. Momus is mentioned as the Greek personification of mockery.

Bride killed in car crash in San Diego
Mrs. Loraine Coiner, 19, eight days married, died when a car hit a telephone pole in San Diego on October 11. Her husband, Second Lieutenant Richard T. Coiner, 23, was charged with manslaughter and released to the Army after minor injuries. Preliminary hearing set for October 15. Coiner is daughter of Col. O W Bell of Fort Bliss. The couple wed in Portland on October 2.

Youth Victim of Amnesia Discovered in Baltimore
Edward G. Crist, 17, son of a Gettysburg physician, missing from Lawrenceville Academy since last Saturday, was found dazed at Baltimore police headquarters. An amnesia case is suspected. He carried an auto operator card with his Gettysburg address and a Pullman ticket from Atlanta to Washington, with $0.06 on discovery. Police report he recalls being at school and had $90 earlier, but remembers nothing of Atlanta or the trip.
