Police Seek Landaker in Circuit Court Appearance

Police seek Marked Man Curtis F. Landaker 31 of 228 S Mulberry St for forgery breaking and entering and other counts. He failed to appear Monday in Circuit Court leading Judge D K McLaughlin to issue a bench warrant. Landaker is described as fair tall with brown hair and eyes and 6 feet tall, bearing 71 tattoos including love across knuckles and a cross between the eyes.

Williamsport Clergyman Charged After Auto Crash

The Rev. Arthur W. Garvin of 104 Appletree Lane faces a charge of failing to stop and grant right of way after his vehicle entered the intersection of W Church Street and West Side Avenue and was broadside by Jessie M. Oden of 105 Manse Road. Both cars sustained about $1,500 and $1,200 in damage respectively. no injuries were reported and both vehicles were towed from the scene.

Planning meeting postponed by county officials

A joint session of the County Planning and Zoning Commission and the County Commissioners set for Tuesday morning has been postponed indefinitely. The agenda included staff needs and a semi annual report with the possible hiring of a county planner. Chairman Donald Spickler cited readiness as the reason.
