Women’s Bible Class Social Held at St Paul’s Union

Woman Killed in Auto Mishap near Westminster
Mrs Virginia Haag, 31, of Detroit, died from injuries after an automobile she rode in overturned on a sharp curve near Tyrone Westminster. Driver William J Swazik of Philadelphia said brakes locked. he faces manslaughter charges pending coroner's inquest. Mrs Haag left behind husband and two children.

Large turnout for Dance in Modern Art exhibit at Washington County Museum
The Washington County Museum of Fine Art drew a large crowd with 90 visitors yesterday to view the Dance in Modern Art exhibition. Dr Eleanor Spencer of Goucher College and other faculty members joined the viewing, with 550 people having seen the show since it opened last Tuesday and continuing until October 23.
