Baltimore October 7 the Marr Yand Drought Loan Corporation was formed by the State drought committee to raise 350000 for lending to farmers without credit during the prolonged dry spell. Waldo Newcomer was elected president with Dr Thomas B Symons as secretary and treasurer and James W Darris as vice president. Directors include Dr Raymond A Pearson and others from the University of Maryland and Maryland Farm Bureau.

A coroner inquiry into Smalls death is set for tomorrow night. Small died at his brother’s Silver Run home eight miles from here Friday night. Deputy Sheriff Leo Warner arrested Jones shortly after.
