Former county man beaten by Waynastaarn residents
A former county man from Glearapring, owner of an automobile radiator shop in Waynaa horn, was severely beaten Sunday evening by Walter B Ambrose and Walter Harrell of Waynaa horn after being stopped near his home at Indian Springs. He escaped once but was caught again and assaulted. Ambrose and Harrell, along with a third man who came to aid, were arrested and fined. The attackers claimed the man had taken a girl from them. Also today auctioneer Joann Andyr sold ten shares of preferred stock of Herald Mail Camping at $100.50 per share and ten shares of common stock valued at $100 for $105 per share in front of the courthouse.
