Labor Leader Reports Brighter Prospects in Labor Dispute
William Green head of the AFL met with President Roosevelt at Hyde Park on October 6 to report improved prospects for peace in the craft and industrial unionism dispute. He predicted that about nine tenths of labor, organized and unorganized, would vote for Roosevelt and called his forecast accurate and conservative.
