Laughery Acquitted In Maryland Murder Trial
Mrs Laura Wilkins Laughery, 28, is acquitted by an 11 man Somerset County circuit court jury in Princess Anne of murdering her former husband Timothy W Laughery. The defense contended she shot in self defense after the couple’s troubled marriage. Judith Ann, their seven year old daughter, witnessed most of the trial and supported her mother as the verdict was read.
