City Workers Given Pneumonia Vaccine
City and industrial workers in Wagerstown received pneumonia preventive vaccine this week. The Felton antigen, used for five years with no deaths among over 8,000 recipients, will be offered to WPA workers. Police and street department staff, exposed to the weather, show no pneumonia cases since vaccination. Last fall 7,000 industrial workers were vaccinated with no pneumonia cases. Earlier, hundreds of first and second graders in public schools were immunized.

Start Work On Four Lane Road Near Fairchild Factory
