Leitersburg suffered storm damage with a fever gate blowing in a church window damaging stained glass and frame. A straw stack at Daniel Beck's farm toppled and a vise blocked the street. Fodder shocks were shattered and fodder strewn across fields around the town.
State Court of Tax Appeals met in Baltimore and disposed of a number of cases. Bvansberg Water Company tax affirmed only local case.
Charles E. Lout has bought the long established wholesale and retail house of W. H. Dunn. Lout, noted previously for negotiating in 98 years of age, plans to continue the same business line and expand it. Brown Morrigan remains chief clerk and bookkeeper.

Charles Armstrong alias McNulty, 19, was committed for court by Justice Fechtig at Central Police Station Baltimore on a charge of assaulting William Chaney of this city. Chaney, visiting his sister on North Puca street, says Armstrong struck him with a brick at Center Market Space, then attempted to rob his watch. Armstrong allegedly escaped from St Marys Industrial School recently.
