The Beauty Show at the market house Saturday night is expected to attract a record crowd. Many entrants have signed up under Staymond M. Peak the event organizer. A prize of ten dollars will go to the longest married couple at the show tonight. Last night 740 people attended with Mayor Bowman among the guests. Door prizes were awarded to several residents from Wayside Avenue Virginia Avenue and Sharpsburg and West Washington Street. the event features bathing suit attire for contestants and a beauty contest tradition.
