Maryland will be well represented at the seventh annual American Farm Bureau Federation meeting in Chirara the week of December 7. President Coolidge will open the sessions and address the attendees. The Maryland group includes Mr and Mrs B P Cahill and Mr and Mrs M Melvin Stewart, plus TS Patterson. The program features an address by Secretary Jardine and a banquet Tuesday night. Over 2400 delegates from 1800 county farm bureaus and 45 state federations will attend.

Norfolk, Va. A special board of inquiry convened by order of Secretary Wilbur began an investigation today into the wreckage of numerous naval seaplanes from a storm October 18 near Baltimore. Hearings are at the naval base and will run several days. Most damaged planes have been repaired or replaced. four of 17 badly damaged machines had to be replaced.
