Plans for a card party to be held Friday November 18 at the high school auditorium were made by the Williamsport Parent Teachers Association at a meeting last night. Mrs Oliver Britner is president. An entertaining program featured a Girl Scouts act and there was good attendance.

Class to Give Play This Week

Drs. A. Cooper's class of the First Christian Sunday School will present a play titled Mrs Apple and Her Corps in the Sunday School building on Thursday and Friday nights November 10 and 11 at 8 o'clock for which there will be a silver offering. Auxiliary Celebrates Armistice Day Activities

The American Legion Auxiliary outlines Armistice Day events on Friday November 12 beginning with a 11 am service at the Court House tablet led by chairman Mrs. Carl McCleary. A 1 45 pm parade formation will start from the home and a 6 30 pm banquet at the Hamilton hotel requires reservations with chairman Mrs. John Reynolds.

Treble Clef presents Cecilian trio recital at Hotel Alexander

The Treble Clef Club opened its season with the Cecilian trio from Baltimore Josephine Beasley Arnold Kyvam and Edith Rogers all Peabody graduates delivering a refined program. Solo dancer Floria Garcia added a lively feature with three dances as Helen Golochouska accompanied. The event featured an audience of members and guests and lunch hosted by club committee members.
