Coolige carried Washing County by a majority of 1498 over Democratic opponent W. Davis according to the official count released by the Board of Supervisors yesterday. The report confirms Coolige’s victory margin in the county.
Hdge and Dawes drew 7460 votes while Davis and Bryan had 6964 and La Follette with Wheeler 1634. Zihlman led Winebrenner 7468 to 6730, and majority against the road engineer measure stood at 3617. Bond issue failed by 2294 votes, with 5047 for and 7215 against. Both constitutional amendments lost in the county. Baltimore state's attorney amendment passed by 1004 votes and the Legislature authority to pass a bonus bill failed by 621.
