ANN ARBOR Mich Nov Army pilot Tom Harmon famed Michigan All American football star is reported missing in action over China since Oct 30. He served with the 449th Fighter Squadron in the Far East after surviving a bomber crash in the Dutch Guianas last spring. Parents Louis and Mrs Harmon were notified by the War Department. Brother Louis Harmon Jr says a letter dated Oct 20 hinted at a possible return on leave before the news of the latest missing report. The family awaits further details from authorities.
