Western Maryland Ready To Meet NYU In Postseason Benefit Game
Western Maryland University with 18 straight football wins and 22 winless droughts offered a postseason game with New York University for unemployed relief. NYU said it would meet any college in the benefit game and coach Dick Harlow replied for Western Maryland proposing December 13 after its schedule ends. A warrant was issued in San Francisco on November 3 for the issuance of worthless checks tied to a boys school in El Monte. Cannon said he is son of Bishop James Cannon Sr of the Methodist Episcopal Church South.
