Sally Custer Wins Voice of Democracy at North High

Sally Jo Custer, a senior at North Ingerstown High, was named winner of the Voice of Democracy Contest in an morning assembly in the school auditorium. Cars Damaged In Collisions In City Last Night

Four cars were badly damaged in two collisions in the city last night with 19 injuries reported. East Baltimore Street saw a crash when Zariassi, driving east, skidded and hit a vehicle north on South Tocust. A parked car at 673 Oak Hills Avenue owned by Lionel and Barbara Sellman was damaged when Josephine Gowdy, 19, struck it while it was parked at 51 Prospect Avenue. Gowdy was charged with reckless driving.
