Delegations from White Forest School and Williamsport appeared before the Board of Education yesterday afternoon. The White Forest group urged stronger safety measures amid concerns for pupil security and requested immediate action.
The board discusses moving the school away from blasting at a cement plant citing danger to pupils and falling debris. They outline cooperation from the Security Company, plan a change before next fall, and consider enlarging the school as one teacher currently serves 10 pupils with multilingual needs.
