Bus Driver Fined On Two Charges After Accident
Howard R Kendall, a Cumberland bus driver, was arrested Sunday for operating while intoxicated and for failing to stop and assist after a crash injuring four. He appeared before Justices Keing and was fined 178 dollars total, with 125 for DUI and 30 for failing to stop, plus 23 in additional costs. default would send him to jail for 90 days.

Four men charged in kidnapping of Grace Booker in Steelton
Police arrested Samuel Pastlak Mele Gouch Pete Miljevich and Dunban Y Vanyarum after they lured 13 year old Grace Booker from her home in Steelton Pennsylvania to Hagerstown Maryland. The girl reportedly went with them willingly but kidnapping charges apply for taking a minor across state lines. Extradition papers were waived and the men were returned to Breighton.
